IT Services has established 2 maintenance windows to be used for performing service and/or upgrades to BCIT's Information Technology systems.

BCIT internal network: Reserved for maintenance to all major BCIT systems (e.g. Banner, Email, Network, myBCIT, etc.).
Every Saturday 18:00 - 24:00 (6pm to midnight).

BCNET (internet): Reserved for maintenance that will impact connectivity to the internet.
Every Sunday 00:00 - 06:00 (midnight to 6am).

Investigating - IT Services staff continue to monitor Microsoft for updates on this service outage/disruption.

User impact: Users may be unable to access the Microsoft 365 admin center and see delays when accessing other Microsoft 365 services.
More info: Additionally, admins are reporting issues when attempting to access some Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Intune functions. Users are also seeing issues with add-ins and network connectivity in Outlook.

Current status: Microsoft is reviewing reports of an issue impacting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services, including impact to the Microsoft 365 admin center and other services, including but not limited to those described in the more info section of this communication. We're reviewing corresponding service telemetry to isolate the cause of the issue and determine next troubleshooting steps.

Scope of impact: Any users attempting to access Microsoft 365 services may be impacted.
