Facilities Management has posted an announcement for the South Campus Annual Maintenance of High Voltage Electrical Equipment and upgrading the feed to the BCIT Residence Buildings
Saturday August 1, 2020 – Power Down 7:00am Power Up 6:00pm •All South Campus buildings (SE01, SE02, SE04, SE06, SE08, SE09, SE10, SE12, SE14, SE16, SE30, SW01, SW02, SW03, SW05, SW09 (all rooms) •All Residence building SW10, SW11. SW12, SW13, SW14, SW15, SW16) (all rooms) •Excluding SE40/SE41/SE42/SE50/Test Hut.
IT Services staff expect: • The data centre to remain operational under generator power during the South Campus event (August 1, 2, 3) • All systems to remain accessible from off-campus or from non-impacted buildings during all events • All network connectivity to be unavailable from impacted buildings.
